I have Caught the Bug.. Baby boy shopping!

I love shopping for our son! Each time we head to the mall we check out all the baby sections! Here are some of our most recent buys!

We have the extra room all cleaned out and ready to start filling it with all those wonderful baby things!

We Simply can not wait until November!

Its a Boy!

On July 6th at 3:30 Jared and I were very happy to find out that we are having a boy! Due to some miscommunication I did not drink enough water and baby Sutherland was hanging out very low! We will be going in for another Ultrasound on Friday! Yay More Pictures!

Another Wonderful Weekend

This past weekend was spent with family and around water! We went back to Troy and enjoyed the pool on Saturday. Then Sunday we took a chance on the weather and headed to lake Perry! We were sure happy that we did because it turned out to be a beautiful day. On the 4th of July we went back to the lake for some more family fun and boating! Our whole family had a blast!

In less then 24 hours we find out if our little Turkey is a boy or girl! We are so excited!

Happy Birthday Barkley Birdie!

We want to wish our first child Barkley Birdie a Happy 4th Birthday! He is the love of our life and we do not know what we would do without him! Just hope he adjusts well to the baby that is about to join our family!!

Today was a long day but well worth it in the end! We had our first sonogram! It was so amazing to see our little baby and its heartbeat continues to be in the 170s! Maybe its a girl? We continue to pray that the next months continue to be happy and healthy!

A New little Turkey At Thanksgiving..

Yesterday at Easter Jared and I announced to our families that we will be expecting our first child sometime in November. Since we had multiple family dinners to go to we thought what a great way to share our exciting news. First we told my Grandma and Grandma Ashworth, then Jared’s whole family and then my grandma Mary. Jared and I came up with a little saying that said, A new little Turkey will be joining us at Thanksgiving! Barkley is going to be a big brother. Most of our family members got it right away while it took some of the others a few minutes. One thought we were getting a new dog.
Last Thursday was our very first doctor’s appointment and we were excited and nervous all rolled into one. The doctor did not know if she would be able to find the heartbeat but sure enough she found it and it was beating healthy at 175 beats per minute. We are scheduled for our first sonogram on Thursday at 4:00 pm. I know that will be all I can think about on Thursday but I wanted to make sure that Jared would be able to go because it will be the first time we get to see our baby!

Where Are you Spring,,,,

As I set here on this cold and snowy night, all I can seem to think about is Spring. In our house we are ready for some fun in the sun such as baseball games, BBQ with friends, weekends at the lake house and last but not least Golf! We have been getting ready for the golf season all winter long. I was able to snag some very cute golf shoes for less then $40.00 at Dicks Sporting goods and Jared was kind enough to purchase me a new Nike golf bag that just happens to match! I am so bad at golf that the only way I feel ready for the new season is to have nice new things!! Hey a girl has got to look good!

Last weekend we headed out to AJ's Pizza for some lunch with James, Sheila, Jesse, Madison and her BF Colin. We had a wonderful lunch and AJ's was better Saturday then our previous visit. After lunch we headed out to the game! KSU played great and we had a wonderful time. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family! Love them!

Jared will be graduating from KSU in May so we have been busy planning a graduation party! He will be working at Wamego Country Club post graduation.

I have been so bad about Blogging and was that girl who just looked at others and did not take the time to update my own. I have promised myself that I would be better about blogging..
